PhonAesthesia TTS to all visually impaired students
The project of the Ministry of Education "Aid for Disabled Students" was delivered successfully at the end of 2008. During this project, students with visual disabilities that study in units of primary and secondary education. More specifically, each student received a laptop computer, a scanner, powered by an accessibility software bundle: Supernova (Screen Reader), e-rhetor PhonAesthesia Visual (Text-to-Speech) and the FineReader (OCR). The above software bundle is the most functional and popular accessibility tool for visually impaired people in Greece.
